About

Dhananjayrao Gadgil College of Commerce has strong active alumni association. One of the main purposes of alumni associations is to support from former graduates who will help to raise the profile of the College. Alumni associations aim to bring together like-minded individuals.

Objectives

1. To develop goals and coordinate the efforts aimed by the organization.
2. To promote Sports, Cultural, Academic, Literary and Financial support to college.
3. To provide Social support to College administration, faculty and students.
4. To take initiation for improve quality and social status of the institution.

Activities

1. Teachers day: Alumni association Organizing ‘Teachers Day’ each year and facilitates the teacher and staff of the college.
2. Participation in board of study: we have a various board of study and we have appointed on meritorious alumni as member of board of study.
3. Guidance to ED Cell Student: Former student entrepreneurs are providing guidance to the students of entrepreneurship development cell.
4. Special Lectures: College has conducted special lectures of alumni members in the area of Career in banking, Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and Insurance etc.
5. Alumni Groups: We have 3 alumni WhatsApp groups for sharing the college events with the alumni members.
6. Regular meeting: Committee organizing minimum two meetings per academic year of the core committee of the alumni association.
7. Financial Support: Member of alumni had provided financial support to ‘Earn while Learn Scheme’ students in the form of sweaters, Dress and stationary for their academic progress. Rather than that Speaker Set, Printer and Water Purifier is also provided by member of alumni.
